Winter White

Image via Pinterest. Source unknown.

This photo may be incongruous with a December post, but the contrast between the white petals and black background reminded me of a nighttime snow storm.

Maybe I'm not so far off after all.

  1. It's a beautiful image but we had a snowstorm last night and it didn't look nearly as pretty as this flower. I wish you a wonderful and happy New Year Deborah!

  2. Hi Phyllis - Happy New Year to you too. You must have received a lot more snow in Vermont than we did in Boston last night!

    1. I'm with you, Loi--looking forward to spring already. It is freezing here in Boston today, although the snow fall last night was festive (not so much the next day though!).

    1. I would love some of that hot and sunny Aussie summer right now, Millie. We are watching the rerun of the 2012 Men's Australian Open Final and looking forward to the 2013 Australian Open in a few weeks! My long-range plan is to attend the Open one of these years. Happy New Year!

  6. Hi Deborah,
Flowers are a joy every season, especially in winter. Poinsettias just don't make it.

    Have a wonderful new year.
